The City of Friendsville
is located approximately eight miles from Maryville and is surrounded, in part, by Gallahar Creek. Northwerst of town lies the Fort Loudon Dam whose backwaters create an ideal area for fishing, swimming, boating, skiing and hunting.
Friendsville offers a quiet suburb lifestyle with a genuine hometown feel, however, the conveniences of big city life are well within reach as US Highway 321 run through town making access to two major interstates and the cities of Knoxville and Maryville quite convenient.
