Lauren Emert joined Blount Partnership as the Director of Economic Development in August 2019 after serving as the Community Relations Manager for RT Lodge. Emert joined RT Lodge in October 2017 to build a stronger connection with the community and oversee external communications.
Prior to RT Lodge, Lauren worked in economic development at One Acadiana in Louisiana on the Business Development team. Lauren also worked in the government relations field for three years in Nashville. Most notably, Lauren’s clients included the Tennessee Infrastructure Alliance (TIA).
Lauren is active in the community through Leadership Blount – Class of 2019, serves as a Board Trustee for the Blount County Library, sits on the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Blount County, and is on the Great Smoky Mountains Institute of Tremont Event Committee.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Louisiana where she grew up but has fallen in love with East Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where she enjoys hiking regularly.
